Na-Adjective (形容動詞（けいようどうし）)

All adjectives that don’t end with い can be conveniently defined as na-adjectives. There are just a few exceptions such as “beautiful” (きれい), “hate” (きらい), and “grateful/happy” (さいわい) which look like い adjectives, but in fact conjugated as na-adjectives.

Example)

・好（す）き: like

・好（す）きだ。: (I) like (it). – Casual

・好（す）きです。: (I) like (it). – Polite
